Nick Cave will join forces with vocalist Debbie Harry singing 'The breaking hands'. The album containing the song will be released in honor of the frontman of the band Gun Club. Jeffrey Lee Pierce, founder, singer, songwriter and guitarist of the band died in 1996 at the age of 37 from cerebral hemorrhage.

In the tribute album, The Jeffrey Lee Pierce Sessions Project - 'The Journey is Long' will involve many renowned musicians such as Mark Lanegan, Isobel Campbell, Warren Ellis, Jim Jones Revue, Lydia Lunch and Nick Cave, solo this time in the introductory part of the album. Released on April 9, containing many unknown and unfinished songs by Pierce.
