The "naughties" leave and it is really difficult to choose what is left from the last ten years. I mean some things I liked when I was seventeen (see placebo!!!) now I hear them and I get sick!

On what criterion does mixgrill ask me to do this? R; Should I put it in the list the most flamboyant?  Should I put the b-sides? I would rather put what I liked and still do in my 27. In the words of the late Coco, trends come and go, style stays forever ...

1. J-Dilla - Stop

2006 / Donuts. J-Dilla Changed my life. Probably have written so much about the late musician that there is no point in doing so. One of the most important and distinctive producers of the decade that pushed "black music" much further ..

J-Dilla 2. Outcast - Hey Ya

2003 / Speakerboxxx / The Love Below. The most feelgood track from the awesome duo, known favorite song Pitchfork, revival though, with brand new look and ...

3. Gnarls Barkley - Crazy

2006 / St. Elsewhere. How rare is it for a song that has made it to No.1 in the charts to be a really good song? About 2-3 times in a decade! The ringtone was everywhere and in every mobile, but never got tired of it! Does that make me crazy?

4. RjD2-Smoke & Mirrors

2002/Deadringer. Great album overall, decent and without fanfare, with doses of noir and chills. Moby would love to be like that, but ...

5.Goldfrapp - Human

2000 / felt mountain. I love this girl, although I do not necessarily like her music. However she has tremendous beauty and culture. And felt mountain was a song I used to hear all the time when it came out, incredible atmosphere, incredible color ... (and a hot piece of ass )

6.At the drive - in-One armed scissor

2000/relationship of command. That same year I was jumping up and down like a kid on the mattress of my kid- at the time- room with this track!

Outcast 7.Tomahawk - God hates a coward

2001/Tomahawk.  Classic cd that I listened to the mini-disk (when in fashion, pre-i-pod era) and the hours passed by on the train (not driving yet, I was a bit younger then!).

8. White Stripes - Fell in love with a girl

2001/White blood cells. I appreciated White later because I detested what the indie types used to listen. I apologize and pay tribute to the gentleman, if this list would be bigger Dead Weather would be in it.

9. Mars Volta - Eriatarka

2003/De-Loused in the Comatorium . After the Drive-In  Omar came back for more. What a God he is, I went to his live show last year at An club and was amazed. In the list of top personas I put him easily in the top 5 ... What a band!

10. Portishead - Machine gun

2008/third. What an album! Amazing evolution in a group that never has anything superfluous in its music ...

Next week, the best of 2009! There!!!
