Music is my Radar votes as top 2009 single Black hearted love by PJ Harvey and John Parish who co-operated again this year, after 13 years, even though we expected more from their album. Next comes One more chance, one of the most 'catchy' songs by Bloc Party, that is not included in their last year's album.

The singles that come from the top 10  albums of the year, according to the column, (see here) and which I mostly enjoyed in 2009 are: I’m throwing my arms around Paris in which Morrissey  gives a hug to Paris, while we give a hug to both! Ulysses, one of the best songs by Franz Ferdinand, The crying lightning, single that preceded Humbug by Arctic Monkeys and Be the one that was aired more than all the above, as it was included in most radio stations playlists…

The top positions in top 60 singles for 2009 are completed by: Papillon by Editors that remains very 'persistant' despite repeated listenings, although it comes from a rather unequal album . Crystalised, the sexiest song of the year by the fresh and ambitious XX, Rabbit heart (raise it up), glorious with the presence and the voice of  Florence  Welch, who is also one of the most talked about people in 2009. Finally, the decade also includes Zero by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs that signaled a change - turn in their sound with their album this year.
