As we read in Rolling Stone , on April 27, Iggy Pop and The Stooges will release again the classic "Raw Power" of 1973 in a box set with 3 CDs. In addition to the tracks of the album, we will find 15 songs that we have not heard before, as well as demos and remixes.

"Raw Power" was the third album by the legendary band and many will remember the amazing "Search and Destroy", and "Gimme Danger". The album was created as a mix by David Bowie (all songs except for "Search and Destroy" which was a mix by Iggy Pop). In  fact, James Williamson (guitar) and the late Ron Asheton (bass) contributed in the album.

Within the 3 CDs you will find the following tracks, which have not been released before: "Doojiman" by Iggy Pop, James Williamson, a rehearsal of "Head On" and "I'm Hungry", "I Got a Right", "I'm Sick of You", "Hey, Peter".

Included in the box set is a documentary of the making of "Raw Power", a photo album and a copy of "Raw Power" 7" single, as released in Japan.

The complex, however even after the great shock by the death of Ron Asheton last year, remains active with James Williamson , the original guitarist of Stooges, who was out of music events for some 30 years!
