The most legendary female band of all time and the first and best sprang from pank time, writing history that surpassed the borders of the Pins Generation, affecting many descendants.
The legendary Ari Up was only 14 years old when she founded the band during a concert by Patti Smith in 1976. A year later they followed The Clash in their famous White Riot Tour and in the late 70's released the great album Cut under the supervision of the High Priest of British reggae Dennis "Blackbeard" Bovell and Budgie (later of Siouxsie and the Banshees) in the position of the drummer.
On the 30th anniversary of the release of this classic LP and two nights before the live appearance at this year's Primavera Festival, The Slits are for the 1st time in Greece, led by their historic leader Ari Up and brand a new album in their luggage after 28 whole years! An amazing night is expected, a deep, on-stage confession of all those terrible secret that composed the uniquely poisonous Punk/Reggae/Dub sounds of The Slits...
