About Nikos Diamantopoulos
Nikos starts his studies at the age of 9 at Yamaha music school. After completing his courses he took up teaching at the same school for two years. Around the same time, in 1989 he started working as a DJ. With jazz, funk and acid jazz influences coming along he founds himself seduced by house.
In 1998 he was at the time when he started producing music as well.
1999 his first release as House Perfume by Coda Records Greece.
2002 his first album Deeper Perfume as Nikkie D by the Scottish Under the Counter.One year later Nikos joined the roaster of klik records decision which allowed him to release three albums so far:
2003 A New Life
2005 Moments In Dreams
2007 Blue.
Since December 2007 he runs his own digital label Wet Recordings. Nikos is still DJing with jazzy, Deep and Tech House sounds and works on his forthcoming album which will be out in 2010 by klik records as well.
George Kyriakou:
George kyriakou returned to Greece end of 1999 having successfully completed his studies in International Relations at the East London University and in Communications & Audio Visual Productions at the London Guildhall University. Upon his return, he started working as an assistant to various advertising producers.One year later he started dealing with radio promotion at EMI’s International Catalogue .
However his love for electronic music and his life dream to create sometime a Greek based electronic label was one of the most important reasons for George to drop his position at EMI. That was the time, he created Klik records alongside Nikos Barlas, as Label manager & A&R.A label which has been created in order to provide the globe with Greek quality electronic music. Klik Records managed within sort of time to become the home of the Greek electronic music scene and gained great respect form the Greek crowd and media as well as from Major International Press.
George has compiled up to now several projects for Klik records such as “Hiroshi Watanabe - A Klik Records Tribute”, Every Day Story series, Fena Fresh, Press R For Galaxy Bar, just to name a few. Nowdays George run his radio show every weekend from 20:00hrs-22:00hrs for Best Radio 92,6.
