One of the most important female group of all time will be in Athens soon. In an Athens, which they themselves seem to know well (I understood that from the style of Tessa Pollitt in the interview she gave me..) that is full of passion and rage this season ...
I do not need to say much about the SLITS, the top group of its generation, that are coming to our country for the first time in fact. Next to the CLASH, BUZZCOCKS and SUBWAY SECT, on the famous 'White Riot tour' in 1977, together with a series of masterful Peel sessions (for many the best ).... with no need of introductions.
It was nice to hear Tessa talking about the elections in England, or the crucial role of Punk, but more interesting was to 'Read' in her voice the sincere anxiety about what is happening today in Greece ...
