Nice guy ... 'Difficult' to be interviewed, special as a musician and definitely with big history behind him... Ian McNabb, the leader of the exceptional in the eighties, Icicle Works, has more to give... This is the only thing for sure... We had the opportunity to discuss both about the cooperation with Ringo Starr (2 generations of Liverpool on the same stage ..), and about Crazy Horse (the album they made together in the mid 90s was unbelievable ...), the Echo and the Bunnymen and Teardrop Explodes, and also for the great book he wrote .. ('Merseybeast').. In September we will talk with Alan McGee (Creation Records), who coincidentally believes that Ian is one of the biggest musicians in Britain and beyond... I totally agree.
