Shortly after 6 pm many people of music found themselves in "Eleven", in Maroussi for the presentation of all the details of the long-awaited concert of U2 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens on the 3rd of September 2010.
In a pretty good atmosphere with the music of U2 playing in the background, the organizers gave us a well-organized folder that contains all the information you need to know about one of the greatest concerts ever in Greece.
In particular, tickets will be on sale starting on Monday, November 2, 2009 at 10:00 am only in the Olympic Stadium. The first five days (Monday, the 2nd - Friday the 6th November) the Ticket House in Athens will operate in special stands in the Olympic Stadium in Gate A (Sp. Louis). The operating schedule will be from 10:00 to 20:00 every day.
From Saturday, November 7 tickets will be on sale from the classic site of the Ticket House at Panepistimiou 42 (from 10:30 - 18:30).
In Thessaloniki , the presale of tickets will start on the same day ie monday 2/11 at Ticket House, the Metropoleos 102.
There's also the possibility to buy tickets (with a 10% increase in charge) from the site of TicketPro for those who live outside Athens and Thessaloniki, and those who do not want to wait in queues, that will form at the Olympic Stadium.
Of course, to be perfectly honest I believe that within the first two days they will run out of tickets, as there's a very diverse audience that likes U2, and the price of the tickets isn't prohibitive.
Now for the tickets. As you will see below, prices start at an excellent price of 33 euros and reach up to 165, and 330 Euro!
