Renowned filmmaker David Lynch ( The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Dr. , etc.) has often dealt with music. He has written lyrics for the first album by Julee Cruise ( Floating into the Night and The Voice of Love ) in collaboration with Angelo Badalamenti. He has composed music for his films and has released a rock album entitled "BlueBob".
In November last year he released two electro pop songs: "Good Day Today" and "I Know", with the independent British record company Sunday Best Recordings.
Describing how he created them he said: "I was just sitting and these notes came and then I went down and started working with Dean [Hurley, his engineer] and then these few notes, 'I want to have a good day, today' came and the song was built around that".
These songs are included in the album "Crazy Clown Time", which will be released on November 8 by Sunday Best Recordings. David Lynch writes the music, produces and interprets the songs while working with Dean Hurley, who plays guitar and drums on many of them.
