On August 24 on the very well known emission of Zane Lowe the BBC played the first single from the new album of Editors " In this light and on this evening ", which is expected on October 12.
The single is called "Papillon" and heard in this year's Ejekt Festival, in Athens. It may not be a huge change, but is evidently even closer to the sound of early New Order (not to say Joy Division ). Surely we are not yet used to it and we'll know better when we hear all their new album.
