You either like it or you hate it! Ultimately you will certainly find something in Mika , to get with you or to be taken by it.

Second cd then, after the super hit Life in Cartoon Motion, and commercial and artistic (and rightly so,in my view), which is likely to follow the footsteps of the previous one. All items featured the sound of Mika will be found here too. And even if it is only the second cd you now realize that there are elements that characterize the sound of Mika. His voice is so recognizable, his compositions as well, his orchestration, the whole package.

And his obsessions, they are just very happy, creative and inspired these obsessions.

The triptych Queen, Elton John and Scissor Sisters, certainly describes the influences of Mika . What is annoying at times, perhaps is this faltseto, which is quite  frustrating at points. Like the bubble pop spinning of some songs. His music can be heard all eventually by girls (but also boys) in adolescence, as well as by serious indie critics, who love Burial and Animal Collective. As we said in the very same principle can not even touch, because it has a different and somewhat more sophisticated Mika, which ultimately keeps a distance (with the exception of Rain, which I think is for everyone)

The We are golden opens the cd and is the 1st single, continuing from where the Grace Kelly had stopped, the Rain is worthy of Relax (take it easy) and sure success, but the songs that make a difference in my humble opinion are the following:

1. Blue Eyes, which brings to mind something from Paul Simon.
2. I see you, which could easily be described as blah, but I think ultimately deserves a 2nd (and counting) listening.
3. One Foot Boy, which is the closest riff, to win points.
4. By the time, it is very, very tender and the production-orchestration is excellent.

Special reference to the work of Greg Wells, which does wonders to the console and complacent confidence shown by Mika in this album. There are boring songs, okay!!!
