Rough Trade Shops: Counter Culture 08
First of all Ι would like to make it clear that I do not have any relationship with the Rough Trade record shop, or any other foreign or local record shops for that matter, except of being a customer. But having spent literally thousands of hours (I did the math) seeking treasures on their dusty shelves, I must say that I will certainly miss them if they are to disappear.
January - February 2009: Best Albums and Tracks
Out of all the new releases, "Dance Mother", the debut of New Yorkers Telepathe, is already the clear favorite for claiming the top of my end of the year list of 2009's best albums (read more propaganda in my previous article). It is closely followed by probably the best work of Animal Collective, "Merriweather Post Pavillion", an album that does not need any more propaganda by me - the internet is already buzzing about it and it has picked up more critical acclaim than Slumdog Millionaire won Oscars.
