The drummer of Radiohead, Philip Selway found time between recordings with Radiohead and managed to create his first solo album. The "Familial" is released on August 30 by Bella Union in the production of Ian Davenport.
Singer Lisa Germano, bassist Sebastian Steinberg, drummer of Wilco Glenn Kotche and Patrick Sansone in synths take part in the record. All of the following 10 songs were written by Philip Selway.

I just wanted to let you know what I've been up to recently in my idle moments in Radiohead.
Over the past year or so, I ' ve written and recorded an album which I've called Familial.
It will be released on Bella Union on 30th August, except for USA and Canada, where it will be released on 31st August through Nonesuch.
