Since the release date of the digital version of the new album by Radiohead, there were several speculations about its physical form. Some said that in it there would be more songs. I personally did not believe it... The group wanted to release something with 8 songs and the short duration of an album. It would not change in physical form...
So that's what happened. On March 28 will be released the CD of "The King of Limbs", but the fan site of Radiohead " atease " has at its disposal the CD, which features just the 8 tracks of the digital version of the album.
The artwork of the album - as always attentive and unique - is what you see above. In the left hand there are 8 prints with the following titles: Roots Of Roots, Ragnorok, Urpflanze, The King Of Limbs, Codex, Axis Mundi, Yggdrasil and Arbor Philosophica. The back cover of "TKOL" has in large letters the name of the band, but upside down. See below:
In the album thanks there is at the end a reference to the actress Drew Barrymore, which strengthens the scenario that the album was created at her home:
The music and sounds of The King Of Limbs were conjured up by Radiohead and Nigel Godrich. The imagery was summoned up by Zachariah Wildwood and Donald Twain. Engineered and mixed by Nigel Godrich.
