New names added to this year's San Miguel Primavera Sound Festival

Broken Social Scene, Beach House, Les Savy Fav, Diplo, Florence and the Machine, CocoRosie, Pet Shop Boys, Sunny Day Real Estate, José González, Titus Andronicus, Ôhe Almighty Defenders, Surfer Blood, Best Coast, the Field, the Books, a Sunny Day in Glasgow, Owen Pallett, Matt and Kim, Sleigh Bells, the Slits, Gary Numan, Scout Niblett Moderat , Marc Almond, Ôhe Smith Westerns, Charlatans (performing 'Some Friendly') and Drums are the names added to the line up bringing, at this time, the total number of acts to 107, while in the Festival will also be held the first viewing of Animal Collective's film, 'ODDSAC' .


We can also give you the first details on the parallel events that will take place in the city before and during the Festival.


'Primavera al Parc' are the concerts taking place in the mornings at the Joan Mirò Park and Real Estate, Dum Dum Girls, King Khan and BBQ Show, Smith Westerns are the names that will play for free, for those who want a first dose of music before going to the Parc Del Fòrum.


- If you arrive earlier than 27 May in Barcelona, look for the concerts that are part of 'Primavera als Clubs' in the city's various clubs, while the names for this year's closing party are Black Lips and Jeffrey Lewis and the Junkyard.


- also roam around in the various metro stations of the city and maybe you will stumble across one of the free musical events part of 'Primavera baixa al Metro '.
