A few hours, the New York Times uploaded to their site for all to hear, the new album by National "High Violet".

The incredible band from Brooklyn, New York releases their new fifth album on May 10, but due to leaking in the Internet (classic) they're offering it this way for a hearing.

On first hearing, "High Violet" picks many "points" and I believe very good reviews will follow, about it, from magazines and websites. Matt Berninger's voice is incredible and the compositions are at the level of Arcade Fire and
of Interpol. Do not imagine of course that we are dealing with mainstream pieces, which will be played constantly on the radio...

In 2008 we had seen them in Fly Beeyond Festival before Massive Attack and Gogol Bordelo. I think many people would like to see them in a solo show, indoors preferably. The band, in my opinion, is close to the "temperament" of the Greek public and can win us over. Moreover, the success of Tindersticks, Antony Hogerty, Archive, Nick Cave , etc. attests to this.

The album contains the following eleven songs with the single "Bloodbuzz Ohio", which will be released in digital format, and a 7'' Vinyl:

1. "Terrible Love"
2. "Sorrow"
3. "Anyone's Ghost"
4. "Little Faith"
5. "Afraid of Everyone"
6. "Bloodbuzz Ohio" (single)
7. "Lemonworld"
8. "Runaway"
9. "Conversation 16"
10. "England"
11. "Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks"
