The Client was founded in 2002 and their influences, as they say, are Joy Division, Kraftwerk, the Smiths, the English north, and anything contrary to Europop-muzak that prevails today. They cound several hits along their path, such as: "Rock and Roll Machine", "In it for the Money", "Pornography", "Lights Go Out", "Drive " and " It's Not Over ".
With numerous collaborations between which Pete Doherty, Carl Barât, Martin L. Gore and appearances with Depeche Mode, Karl Bartos (ex-Kraftwerk), Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, The Charlatans and Covenant , the Client is the band's band of the electro scene.
