Two new songs from the highly anticipated new album of Arcade Fire "The Suburbs" were played at an American radio station and in Zane Lowe's show in BBC.
The American Radio 107,7 The End played a new song of Arcade Fire, entitled "Ready to Start", which is said to be the first single from their album in USA. This song is more mainstream than their previous songs, without losing the identity of the band. You can listen to this song below:
Apart from "Ready to Start", another song was played at BBC in Zane Lowe's show. It is called "We used to wait" and you can listen to it in the official page of Zane Lowe and below (from Consequence of Sound ). This song is very melodic and according to Lowe, it will be the first single from the Suburbs in Britain:
I would say that all the new songs we 've heard from "The Suburbs" of Arcade Fire are at a quite high level. It's true that Arcade Fire is one of the best bands now. I envy those fortunate, who will see them live this summer, as they will be the first to hear their new songs live.
Of course, you know very well that one of you (the winner of June's Championships in Gladiators) will travel to Paris with a friend, in order to see Arcade Fire, Roxy Music, Beirut etc at Rock en Seine Festival with a two-days accommodation at TIMHOTEL BOULOGNE Hotel in Boulogne, Paris, an offer of Mix Grill and Antiko Travel (Chiou 41 A.
