Brandon Flower goes solo

The Killers' frontman explains the reasons that prompted him to make his first solo album entitled Flamingo.

The problems with the Killers are more or less known. Splitting up and getting back together resulting in them not being first class names that people look forward to for festivals and concerts.

Inertia and the bad atmosphere in the band led Brandon Flowers to make his first steps as a solo artist. He recently announced to the other members of the Killers he is about to release his first solo album titled Flamingo.

As Flowers insists, this action was not done to grab attention or to prove something to the world. Singing is in his nature and he's frightened when he is absent too long from music events. He needed seven years of hard work to be comfortable on stage and as a result make him and the Killers one of the most popular groups.

The album will be released in September, written in the period when Flower was touring with the Killers and is a bit more introverted than the style of the group. Partners in the project are Stuart Price and Daniel Lois.

We are anticipating the future of the Killers, the first task of Brandon but keeping in repeat Read My Mind and Mr. Brightside that we have so much-loved and traveled with them.
