Maya (or otherwise / \ / \ / \ Y / \) is the new, third album of Brit- Srilanky MIA is expected to be released next Tuesday, July 13 by her personal record label NEET Recordings.

The album was created in the house of MIA in Los Angeles. Once again, the lyrics have a political connotation. The cover of the album is the most beautiful I've seen this year.
M.I.A. is always special  for the image of the music ...

I have heard the album 4-5 times and I must say that it moves in the style of Kala 2007. In some songs it is wild and straight (Stepping Up, Teqkilla, Story to Be Told (corresponding Paper Planes of the record), experimental ( Lovalot) and other, softens and becomes fairly mainstream (Tell me why, XXXO, It takes a muscle, Space - All first two will play in bars - clubs in a few weeks).

Logically, "Maya" will get pretty good reviews from music magazines and websites.
