So Mr. Hansen worked with Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth and Tortoise to create adaptations of the entire album by Yanni "Live at the Acropolis". These are "Santorini", "Reflections of Passions", "Nostalgia", "Within Attraction", "One Man's Dream", "Acroyali/Standing In Motion", " The Rain must fall ", 'Until the last moment", "Keys to Imagination" and "Swept Away" .

The story with the covers by Beck is part of a program initiated by him with the title "Record Club".

Who is Mr. Beck? I wondered for a moment and thought to check it. So let's say a few words.

Beck Beck Hansen is a musician of American origin which ii the alternative - indie scene but it doesn't prevent him from being combining harmonically various styles of music, such as Folk, Latin, Hip Hop, Funk, Rock and Blues. He is a connoisseur of several musical instruments and in the recordings of the album, he perform the music of each part himself. He has done remixes for David Bowie and Bjork and it is no coincidence that has been described by fans and critics as one of the most creative artists of alternative Rock of the 90's and 00's.

The four-times platinum Beck became very well known with his lyrics through which he carried a strong social critique.Most notably are the singles "MTV Makes Me Want to Smoke Crack" and "Deep Fried Love".

The two most popular album by Beck are Odelay (1996) which the album of the year for magazines like Rolling Stone, NME and Mojo and won the Grammy Award for Album Of The Year and Sea Change (2002) and this was in turn described as the album of the year by the Rolling Stone magazine.

His latest music creation is the very interesting and quite thoughtful adaptations of songs by Yanni .
