It's been many years since the dissolution of Joy Division and the reunification of the rest of the members as New Order. The path of both groups is historic and memorable. The influence on many later bands even more so. And that brings us to today where after a long time they appear again in the spotlight through a new cooperation of Bernard Sumner with Hot Chip.

The great member of New Order came into the studio to record a new song along with the electropop band Hot Chip, but also them as part of the campaign Converse's Connectivity. The cooperation involves the exclusive song titled "Didn't Know What Love Was" for Converse's attempt to hold an annual celebration of British music.

"Didn't Know What Love Was" combines the funky style of Hot Chip with the "frozen" compositions that characterize the new wave sound of New Order.

The piece is available for listening at British website of Converse where it can be downloaded.
