The English band with the French name is set to release its eighth album and the song 'Tonight' is the first sample.

Saint Etienne, ie Sarah Cracknell, Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs will release their first record work after seven years and Tales from Turnpike House (2005).

You can listen to the song at the end of the article and download it until March 5, which is the official release date, from the official website of the group here .

As we read in saintetienne.com , the single, like the whole album, is about the instinctive and atavistic* pull of pop music, the way you feel the pure excitement of a big band or a concert as a hotline straight to the heart.

The production of 'Tonight' was done by Tim Powell (Xenomania, Girls Aloud, Kylie, Sugababes) and the remix by Richard X.

* = atavistic concerned with the inheritance or recurrence of ideas or more primitive trends
