It was one of the latest additions to the Synch Festival 2009(Athens,Greece). In the UK there has already been created a hype around her name and her gigs in general. Florence Welch with the Machine have created one of the most beautiful songs in 2009 - Rabbit heart (raise it up) - and for us here at Mix Grill the best.
Rabbit heart (raise it up) is the main single of "Lungs", but the second song on our list does not exist in an album of Bloc Party. The "One more chance" is probably the dance song of the year and fully justifies the singer Kele Okereke, who stated that there is still enough energy from last year after the creation of their album "Intimacy".
In the third place you will find our favorite PJ Harvey, who collaborated once again with John Parish and even if not for several people she did not impress with this year's "A woman a man walked by", one of the songs, the "Black Hearted Love" has succeeded its goal.
Below you will find the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, XX, Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Editors etc. The 50 best songs of the year resulted from an internal vote among the editors of Mix Grill. As always, opinions and comments are welcome.
