C.Love We haven't dealt with Courtney Love's musical activities for a long time, since her last personal album, 'America's Sweetheart', was released in 2004, while the last Hole album was out even before that (1998's 'Celebrity Skin').

But now, according to Spin, she's ready to release a new album under the name of Hole, despite the objections of former members Melissa Auf der Maur and Eric Erlandson not participating in this new record.

Having ensured the distribution of the album by Mercury/IDJ, the release date is set for April 27.

The album is titled 'Nobody's Daughter' and it took Courtney five years to complete while she was once again helped by friends like Billy Corgan and Linda Perry and the producer of 'Celebrity Skin ' Michael Beinhorn.

But in those five years there must have been enough tension since all three are keeping their distance from the project. Beinhorn, for example, withdrew within the first year of recording as he believed that Courtney's turbulent life kept distracting them from the process.

The new incarnation of Hole is completed with the addition of  Micko Larkin on guitar (Courtney's 23 year-old roommate), Shawn Dailey (of Rock Kills Kid) on bass and Stuart Fisher on drums, while Jack Irons (formerly Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam ), also on drums, participated in the recording of the album.

What remains to be seen is if the album is good enough to mark the return of Courtney Love in music.
