It's good to have concerts, records, tours but a band like U2 needs to find new ways to show its talent. What better way than to get involved in a musical, namely the famous Spiderman. Yes, U2 will make Spider-Man a musical entitled Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark Broadway musical. The story intrigues the band , according to Bono, as they always wanted to be from New York, but after September 11, all wanted even more to be heroes in America.

On Friday, Bono and Edge showed on "Good Morning America today" the first song from their new project titled "Boy calls from the sky". The piece was performed by the star of musicals Reeve Carney who with his band will give the performance the rock sound, just like the Irish have dreamed. The result, said Edge, satisfies U2 and they are very happy to collaborate with Carney.

The musical was expected some time earlier, but because of high cost, it was difficult to find all money on time. Rehearsals begin on November 14 while the official premiere is scheduled for 21 December. Advance ticket sales have already begun.
