The Tindersticks, the melodic band that is characterized by the autumn charm of the orchestration and lyricism of the verse, return to Greece on Saturday, September 18 at Principal Club Theatre, Thessaloniki and on Sunday, September 19 at the Theatre of Lycabettus Hill in Athens.
The charismatic voice of Stuart Ashton Staples, Neil Fraser on guitar and metallofono in David Boutler on the accordion and percussion, and together with other musicians, will impose soulful tones in their two concerts in Thessaloniki and Athens.
The Tindersticks, have left their mark on the British indie scene and came up with their name, when o Stuart Staples found a discarded box of matches on a Greek beach. Since 1992, they released their first single "Patchwork" by this year's eighth studio album "Falling Down a Mountain" they have managed not only to stimulate interest in world music scene, but also to gain ardent supporters among the Greek public.
Their songs could be the soundtracks of films that talk about unfulfilled love, great passions, weaknesses and concerns - also signed the music for five films by French avant-garde filmmaker Claire Dennis.
The Tindersticks with multiple doses of lyricism and upbeat and optimistic mood will enchant the Greek audience on Saturday, September 18 at Principal Club Theatre, Thessaloniki and on Sunday, September 19 at the Theatre of Lycabettus Hill in Athens making this fall's nights more fascinating.
