Portishead had notified us as early as dawn yesterday that they'ld announce something good for 2011 through the day. There may not be anything about a new release, but their concert schedule is quite interesting.
First, the group will work with "All Tomorrow's Parties" and present a very interesting weekend on 23 and 24 July at Alexandra Palace, London. The event will be called" I'll Be Your Mirror "and the title of course refers to the same song by Velvet Underground.
Portishead will be headliners both nights and will be complemented with different bands each day. The line-up so far is as follows:

Perhaps the most interesting news is that Portishead will make a tour of Europe and America in September and October. Maybe come pass through our part of the world?
