Thom Yorke and the human sculpture

On Saturday Thom Yorke has created a "sculpture" with 2,000 volunteers in collaboration with 350 Earth climate campaign organization.

Thom Yorke of Radiohead is known for his ecological and political concerns in general. It is not the first time he is  participating in movements of similar intentions. On Saturday, however, it was the first time he created a "sculpture" with 2,000 volunteers , in collaboration with the 350 Earth climate campaign organization!

On November 27 two thousands of people wore black clothes and gathered at 11 am (GMT) in Brighton. The "sculpture" created by Thom is a reconstruction of the legend of the Vikings "King Canute".

The past few days, Thom Yorke had asked friends of the band through their official site to participate in this movement. So, having completed here  the form, the first 2000 were selected for this procedure.

The goal (as he says) was to create " an image that looks at the sea and is visible from space." But you may wonder:"Why did this happen?"
