One of the historic groups of England the Hawkwind come for a unique live in our country on May 7th. No, not a rumor.  It is a fact. In case you have doubts you can visit the official website of the group http://www.hawkwind.com.

Hawkwind  is the band that immediately bring to mind two words: space rock. Nothing else. With two words one could describe everything. From the year 1969 until today they live among us and have offered us 26 studio releases (without the live albums and compilations). More recent work in
2010 is Blood Of The Earth.

Throughout the existence of Hawkwind on earth, space, time, fixed and unalterable figure is the guitarist and heart of the group Dave Brock. The lineup of the group have been too many, with the most glaring name that of Ian Kilmister (known in the world as Lemmy)
in the period 1972-1975.

It is worth noting the short story between Lemmy and Hawkwind. Lemmy was fired from the group in 1975 in Canada because of being accused of possession of 2 grams of speed which the Canadians mistook for cocaine. He spent a night in jail, the Hawkwind paid the guarantee and kicked him out when released. And Lemmy said the memorable phrase ''I guess I was doing the wrong drugs for this band''. And
Motorhead were born  which  is the title of the last song composed by Lemmy for the Hawkwind. Motorhead in American slang is''high'' on amphetamine.

Enough with the stories. May 7th 2011 in Gagarin we expect to enjoy a space rock psychedelic night with hits such as the master of the universe, angel of death, hassan I sabbah, levitation, silver machine and much more.

Until then, patience ... ...
