Steven Patrick Morrissey was introduced to the audiences as the lyricist and singer of the band The Smiths. After the band broke up, Morrissey started a solo career and is now regarded as an important innovator of indie music and one of the most influential artists.EMI has announced a new collection “The Very Best of Morrissey”. The Very Best Of Morrissey, a unique - and remastered - overview of the classic years, bringing together hit singles, b-sides, previously unreleased material and the remastered videos on CD/ DVD.
As posted on the official site: “Whether you're an old or not-so old fan, The Very Best Of Morrissey is an essential journey through the world of Morrissey”.
Accompanying the CD, the bonus DVD includes 11 remastered videos (three of which are previously unavailable on DVD) and the rarely seen (and previously unreleased) live performance of I've Changed My Plea To Guilty taken from the 'Tonight With Jonathan Ross Show', December 1990.
Selected by Morrissey himself for single release, Glamorous Glue has been remastered, re-artworked and re-packaged. Taken from Morrissey's classic album 'Your Arsenal', the track was released as a US single in 1992, but was never released in the UK. Click here for more info about the single release.
