He said the song he recorded for the spot was inspired by the Strokes' old song 'Take It Or Leave It' (2001). The singer said he was asked to write a song like this and added that he wanted the song to have a little "screaming", to give a sense of 'Take It Or Leave It'.
Explaining the choice of the title of the song, he said: "I've always been a man of the night, I love the night. So, I got this feeling and put it in a song".
