Flow Festival, held at Helsinki’s Suvilahti August 12–14, adds English indie folk trio Daughter, who just released Not To Disappear, an album loved by both critics and the public, and The Kills, consisting of American singer Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince and making their Finnish live debut touring on the strength of their first new album for years Ash & Ice, to its lineup. Flow also booked two American rappers having a major impact on the scene right now: Anderson .Paak, who was featured on Dr. Dre’s Compton, comes to the festival with his band The Free Nationals, and newcomer GoldLink, who made his debut album And After That, We Didn't Talk under the tutelage of Def Jam founder Rick Rubin. Venezuelan born DJ Arca has worked with stars like Björk and Kanye West and released one of last year’s most critically acclaimed album Mutant is coming to Suvilahti this summer.

Flow Festival 2016 daily schedule

All the different ticket types for Flow Festival are now on sale and the day-to-day schedule of the current lineup is announced.

On Friday e.g. Massive Attack, Iggy Pop, Jamie xx, Four Tet and Sleaford Mods take the stage, on Saturday The Last Shadow Puppets, M83, Chvrches, The Kills, Hercules & Love Affair and a host of others perform and Sunday’s cherry on top of the festival cake consists of Sia, New Order, Descendents, Kamasi Washington, Thundercat and others.
