Background
Year 2021 is the “Year of China-Greece Culture and Tourism”, which is a grand occasion in bilateral communication between the two ancient civilizations. Leading department from both countries put high priority on the support and coordination of this occasion to ensure proper execution of programs under framework of cultural exchanging and tourism promotion.
Hence,, “SINO-HELLENIC PERFORMING ARTS ALLIANCE” was founded. We perform “traditional things” in modernized way, dedicated to deliver the sparkling culture of both civilizations without using high profile terms and to build a stage with easy access for all audiences.
People all around the world suffered the not wakening nightmare brought by Covid-19. The way we live has been deeply reformed, people were kept away from normal socializing, sometimes locked down at home for months. “SINO-HELLENIC PERFORMING ARTS ALLIANCE” wishes to open a door of happiness for you with humor and interactivity, to disperse the shadow of virus and bring in again sun lights into life.
The band “Katharsis” by SHPAA
The band consists of musicians of traditional Chinese instruments, western musicians, Chinese singer and western singer, an international team.
The name of this band “Katharsis” is from ancient Greek. It has been translated by Chinese scholar, famous ancient Greek translator, Mr. Luo Niansheng, to “陶冶” in Chinese, means nourishing human’s heart through art.
Greece is a country of art, the band Katharsis wishes to build the bridge of friendship between Greece and China through music and to enrich the musical experiences of Chinese immigrants community living in Greece.

中希华人戏剧联盟
Life must be lived as play
2021年到2022年是“中希文化和旅游年”，这是两个文明古国交流史上的一件文化盛事。去年3月，“中希华人戏剧联盟”在雅典成立。这是一个由一群热爱中希两国文化的华人华侨组成的非盈利协会，致力于用接地气的方式推动两国之间的文化交流和文明互鉴。
2021年8月20日，联盟的首演剧目《古希腊穿越之旅》在雅典久负盛名的Trianon剧场成功首演，并在之后的9月份接连奉献两场中秋主题特别演出。
“卡塔西斯”乐队
随着联盟的快速发展，陆续吸引到更多有才华，有热情的人才加盟，其中有来自意大利但中文倍儿棒的专业歌手，有来自中国的西洋乐手，更有多位优秀的中国传统民乐演奏家。当热爱音乐的人们碰到一起时，旋律的火花就自然而然的迸发出来。于是在2021年9月26日下午3点，中希华人戏剧联盟旗下的“卡塔西斯乐队”正式成立。
“卡塔西斯”源自古希腊语“Katharsis”一词，是亚里士多德在其著作《诗学》中提及的概念。作为宗教术语，意思是“净化”。中国著名学者、古希腊文学翻译家罗念生先生将“Katharsis”翻译为“陶冶”，意思是通过艺术的美好滋养人类的心灵。
卡塔西斯乐队成立于后疫情时代，我们希望通过音乐和艺术，表达情感，净化心灵，陶冶情操，升华精神。在希腊这个处处充满艺术气息的国度，卡塔西斯乐队期待用音乐搭建友谊的桥梁，为旅希华人华侨同胞带来更丰富的音乐体验和享受，同时也用音乐把中国的传统文化精粹传递给希腊友人。
席卷全球的新冠疫情注定是写入史册的一件大事。持续肆虐了两年之久的病毒，使人们无法正常社交，甚至不得不长时间困于家中。“卡塔西斯乐队”希望借助音乐的力量为大家打开一道快乐之门，驱散阴霾，为疫情下的希腊生活增添一抹亮色。
