Out of June releases, the on by Kasabian clearly stands out, which pleasantly surprised me, as they released their best album. This time they approach psychedeleia, which can be seen in the posture and the costumes in the cover photo of West ryder pauper lunatic asylum , which for the record was a psychiatric clinic near Leeds, in England in 1800. From the album, in which none of the compositions falls behind, attention is drawn by the instrumental Swarfiga , the single Fire , which is reminiscent of Primal Scream , Underdog , which is heard in the Sony Bravia tv ad, Where did all the love go, Secret alphabets , Fats fuse and Thick as thieves .
The Gossip experiment with small changes in the sound of their fourth album Music for men , in relation to the dirty, strong rock sound of their previous album Standing in the way of control , using the synths more. Dimestore diamond , Love long distance , Vertical Rhythm , 2012 , Spare me from the mold and the single Heavy cross profoundly stand out.
The 62-year old Iggy Pop released the album he probably wanted and thought of throughout the 42 years of his legendary career. The Preliminaires - analytical review by MikeMous here - is inspired by the book of the heretic French writer Michel Houellebecq and contains traces of jazz and blues. In the cover of Autumn Leaves (having been performed by many, including Yves Montand , Edith Piaf , Serge Gainsbourg ), as Les feuilles mortes , his voice is reminiscent of Leonard Cohen , while in Je Sais Que Tu Sais he sings for the first - and probably the last - time in his life in french! From the album - apart from Les feuilles mortes - the King of the dogs and I want to go to the beach, stand out, but the most interesting prospect would be a live performance of them by Iggy.
Secret, profane and sugarcane is the 36th album by Elvis Costello recorded, not coincidentally, in Nashville, since it mainly includes country compositions. A cover of Johnny Cash's Hidden shame as

The Boy or Alexander Voulgaris is proved to be very productive as 6 months after Time machine with Mary & The Boy, he has released his Please make me dance, and it is said that he will have another release by the end of 2009. The album has already overwhelmed several journalists.
The Franz Ferdinand with Blood offer dub covers of certain songs from this year's Tonight using different titles for them. It is worthwhile to listen to Backwards on my face , Die on the floor and Feeling kind of anxious .
In June we also listened to the rather mediocre new releases by Silversunpickups , Tori Amos , Regina Spektor , Meat Puppets , Enemy and Eeels.
Finally, compilations have been released by the Orbital and Faith No More , which we will watch live, in Theatro Vrahon on August 10.
