"Burning" is the title of the documentary film-makers Vincent Moon and Nathanaël Le Scouarnec are preparing and aims to record the experience of watching a live performance of Mogwai.

For film fans we remind you that Vincent Moon visited us a month ago or so, in the film festival of Athens "Opening Nights" to show us the movie "All Tomorrow's Parties", in which he was one of the filmmakers, but also to make a film with live performances from domestic indie groups.

"Burning" was shot in Brooklyn at the beginning of the year and will premier at the International Documentary Festival in Copenhagen on November 13. Later will be released a live album entitled "Special Moves" to accompany the film by the record company of the Scottish band Rock Action.

And the movie adventures of Mogwai do not end there, because at the same festival will also be shown the short film "Adelia, I Want to Love", directed by Vincent Moon and Teresa Eggers and co-starring Stuart Braithwaite. The film, showing the 90 year old grandmother of an Italian festival organizer as she prepares to attend her first concert and the guitarist of Mogwai play before the Italian festival. "Adelia" appeared in the latest limited edition album of the band "The Hawk Is Howling" so the committed friends of the group have already seen it.

More on both films can be read on the site of the Danish Festival here and the site of Mogwai here .

If we're lucky maybe next year "Burning" will be in  the film section "Music and Film" in "Opening Nights".
