I still remember my first concert experience with Moby ... Dance without stop, lots of dust and sweat in the beach of Freatida in the first Rockwave Festival in 1998. Moby on stage, a sweet, bald little man who was always back and forth. Climbed the scaffolding, danced, sang, played with the audience ... If not the best, was one of the top performances in Greece.
Of course, this was not the first concert of Richard Melville Hall (aka Moby) in our country. Two years earlier, he had appeared in 1996 Rock of Gods Festival, along with Iggy Pop, The Stereo Nova, etc. The same year he played in the Rodon (more you can read in our Tribute to Foreign bands' concerts in Greece from the 60s until today).
From then until the present day, the admission of Moby from the Greek public is no accidental and there is no wonder why he has been so many times in our country. He has always been a gentleman before us. Full concerts up to very good performances up to a point not to get bored from seeing him again and again ...
According to Stop That Sound on June 22 he will be in EJEKT Festival, along with Amy Winehouse and the day after in Thessaloniki. Already two very good names in EJEKT!

Moby, beloved performer of the Greek public, is the second big name to complete the impressive line-up of this year's Ejekt Festival, after Amy Winehouse who has been announced.
The next day, Moby will give his own concert in Thessaloniki, Earth theatre.
Everyone likes Moby. The list of successes speaks for itself: it is so great that the concerts could be composed entirely by popular songs like "We Are All Made Of Stars", "Lift Me Up", "BodyRock", " Natural Blues "," Extreme Ways "," The Sky Is Broken "," Run On "," Slipping Away "," Beautiful "," New Dawn Fades "," Porcelain "," Honey "," Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad? "," Everytime You Touch Me "," Go "," Feeling So Real "," Into The Blue "," That's When I Reach For My Revolver "," Find My Baby " and many others.
After all, the curriculum speaks for itself: among the elite artists whose one album has sold 10,000,000 copies ("Play"), has worked with the biggest names in music (such as David Bowie, Gwen Stefani, Bono, Michael Stipe, Britney Spears, Public Enemy), appears on two decades at the biggest festivals of the world as a leading name and his music has been heard in many films and commercials.
In Greece, however, Moby is literally worshiped. It may be that the music can not be booked on labels or that the tunes fit the radio and our psyche or that of his previous performances being unforgettable. For whatever reason, thousands of spectators who flock to concerts every time showing that Moby is one of the artists we "grew up" with in the 90s and 00s and remains a priority for the Greek public who loved him in his first steps even when he had not become famous in Britain or the U.S..
