Another band from the island of rock described as indie is '12 dirty bullets 'which usually roams around
underground London. They became more recognized as they managed to survive as winners in the battle of rock bands. Currently they can be found in America, where they are touring in several small and independent music scenes and seem very excited in the documentary that posted in their facebook page. They are 'liked' by 3,935 people and I'm definitely one of them.

They released their debut album Downsides to making a living in 2009, a title cut and sewn for the modern Greek of crisis and 'medium term'. They have already tested their new songs in live performances with the audience's reactions and they have been through the process of the studio for their second album Motown . The new work is therefore awaited with impatience, as proved by the following songs :

For their debut, personally I consider it as raw diamond of modern music industry.
  • Atmospheric songs in the beginning with a raise of dynamism in the chorus.
  • The English pronunciation of the central band member Jamie Jamieson resembles something from the dirty and dark areas of London, the ones nobody wants to see, but remain there stoically and endure the social erosion and segregation.
  • Each verse expresses a grievance, the social inequality that have been experienced by these young musicians, perhaps poverty as an independent group. They seem to be ironic against girls who are interested in money, drugs and entertainment only, clean and pretty rock and roll boys with rich parents, police officers who in the evenings become traffickers and they keep on in every song with their social outcry. Even the romantic ballads hide their bitterness.
  • In the end I left the track Black roses and violence which causes me sad associations for December events in Greece and wherever and whenever the social revolts were buried with black roses from violence and domestic power.
