Today we will walk together in a parallel universe of dreams. Where everything is possible and nothing is given. Where desires are always satisfied. Where great songs are born...

1. Dreams - TV On The Radio
(Tunde Adebimpe-Kyp Malone-David Andrew Sitek)
With their debut, Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes , 2004, these youngsters caused some noise as they have a special, dark sound and great melodies. That means you will find this piece, the metronome pace, the claustrophobic atmosphere and not very optimistic lyrics: "All your dreams are over now / and all your wings have fallen down"
2. Dream Brother - Jeff Buckley
(Jeff Buckley-Mick Grondahl-Matt Johnson)
Jeff Buckley had proved in Grace (1994) that he was capable of big things. The Dream Brother is the last song on that album with ethereal vocals and guitar raga creates truly dreamy atmosphere, prior to the outbreak in an incredible instrumental break.

3. # 9 Dream - John Lennon
(John Lennon)
Number 9 was of particular importance to Lennon and appears several times in the titles of the songs. This describes a weird dream, achieving the great orchestration to us and put us through. From Walls And Bridges , 1974. "Dream away ..."

4. Don't Dream It's Over - Crowded House
(Neil Finn)
Perhaps the biggest success of the Australian-New Zealand. As a single, became the sole # 1 (Canada) and obtained immortality. Influenced by the Beatles, the pop sensibility here was first perceived.

5. California Dreamin '- The Mamas And The Papas
(John Phillips-Michelle Phillips)
John Phillips' dreamed of this great song in 1963 and recorded it in 1965 with the other Mamas And The Papas. Since then it is included in all lists of the best songs of all time. And rightly so.

6. Last Night I Had A Dream - Randy Newman
(Randy Newman)
From the great Sail Away in 1972. Piano ballad, with sound-bites, dark humor of Newman in full flower, describing a dream of ghosts and vampire. Creepy things ...

7. Pilate's Dream - Barry Dennen
(Andrew Lloyd Webber-Tim Rice)
From the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. In this short but beautiful passage, Pontius Pilate tells a dream, which proved tragically true ...

8. A Dream For Julie - Kaleidoscope
(Peter Daltrey-Eddie Pumer)
Just 3 years (1967-1969) worked here were the English under the name Kaleidoscope, without anything substantial to manage sales and visibility. Today, however, considered important as the music had all the characteristics needed to be timeless. Excellent sample of their work here and this is the single from 1968.

9. Dreamworld - Rilo Kiley
(Blake Sennett-Morgan Nagler)
The Under The Blacklight in 2007 is probably the best pop album of Jenny Lewis and her company. Dreamworld is an excellent piece, and the first song of the band that became popular in Russia.

10. 22 Dreams - Paul Weller
(Paul Weller)

The memories of the devastating appearance of Modfather in Athens are still fress when he has served us, inter alia, this part of the homonymous recent album. Demonstrates here that he is with ease in his second youth in music. Not bad for a fifty year old ...
